K05 students have been working with partners to create story problems and test them out on their desks.
They were able to try numbers of their choice in the problems they created.
Our Pettigrew school community had a great time at our annual Staff vrs. 5th Grade Students Basketball Shootout Spectacular today!
This year the game took a little different twist adding a few of our RHS Pathways students to the staff game roster!
It was an action packed hour of cheering on both teams and witnessing some pretty dynamic ball players both young and old!
Our RHS Pathways students took this opportunity to either play along side teachers or sit in the audience with our students.
What a great event!
Live To Give was our March Mindset lesson. This mindset teaches us about giving love and respect to others, and to receive new and exciting things that come into our lives gracefully. Students learned that by giving back through their interests and passions, they will help other people and leave a lasting legacy in the world.
Our March Students of the Month exemplified the Seven Mindsets quality of Live To Give.
Congratulations to these students for continuing this Seven Mindsets quality and working on their PAWS everyday!
The April Mindset, The Time is Now, teaches us that all our power exists in the moment. We cannot change the past, and the future hasn't happened; the only thing to do is take purposeful action in the present to create the life of our dreams.

Aloha from the island paradise of Pettigrew! Students enjoyed a fun island themed lunch environment today as we celebrated our PAWS goal reward for March! Students and staff wore Hawaiian gear and listened to tropical music as they feasted on their lunches.
Many students said it was the best day ever! It helped having 80 degree weather in March! Just what the principals ordered!

Then and Now! Mr. D recently attended a Rough Rider Girls Basketball game and caught up with a few of his former Pettigrew students that played basketball together WAY BACK in 3rd grade! What a great flashback!
