Pettigrew PTO is excited to host Pizza Bingo Friday, January 20th from 6:30 - 8:30pm in the school gym.
Pre-order forms were sent home with students on Friday and can be returned to your child's teacher anytime on or before Thursday, January 12th.
Volunteers and donations are needed! More information can be found on the attached flyer. As an added bonus, all volunteers will receive early admission and first choice of seating.
Grab your family and friends and head to Sky Zone Monday, January 9th anytime between 3pm-8pm for Pettigrew Night!
SFSD schools start 2-hrs late Thursday, January 5, 2023.
Due to the amount of snow that fell with this winter storm and the time it will take for plows to get into residential neighborhoods, there will be No School, no practices and no activities tomorrow – Wednesday, January 4, 2023. District and school offices will be open.
In addition to there being NO SCHOOL today, an update now includes that SFSD Offices will also be closed on Tuesday, Jan 3, 2023.
Grab your family and friends and head to PTO’s Pettigrew Night at Skate City this coming Thursday, December 15th from 6-8pm!!!

Student Council has organized a fun week of festive dress-up days during the week of December 12-16th.

Congratulations to our Principal, Kevin Dick, on his recent graduation from The Learning Forward Professional Development Academy which he has been working on since 2019.
The Learning Forward Academy is an extended and profound learning experience that immerses members in a model of inquiry- and problem-based learning. Academy members work collaboratively to gain knowledge to solve significant student learning problems in their schools, districts, or organizations.
Principal D spent his class time working on a project related to enhancing the reading and literacy performance of our students at Pettigrew.
We are proud of our Principal and his achievement, to improve learning for all students at Pettigrew!

**Reminder that the PTO Gift Card Fundraiser order forms and money must be turned in to your students teacher by tomorrow, Wednesday, November 30th.
To ensure timely processing, late orders will not be accepted.
Please watch your email next week for details on the dates and times when orders are complete and ready for pick up. Any gift cards not picked up during the designated pick up times will be sent home with students the following week.

On November 21 and 22nd, we are asking students to support the November Challenge, by asking Pettigrew families to prepare a Hygiene Kit or two to bring to school! Student Council Reps will be around on November 22nd to collect the kits for distribution to individuals in need. .
There should not be any LOOSE items, only gallon bags filled with the items listed on the flier pictured below.
This has been a successful challenge in previous years, and we look forward to seeing how many Hygiene kits will be donated by Pettigrew this year! Thank you for your support and promotion of this event! We appreciate our Pettigrew families!
